Le numérique est un sujet de prédilection dans les conférences, les débats et les table-rondes qui animent le monde de l’édition depuis au moins une dizaine d’années. Mais dans les faits, l’offre que notre industrie propose au grand public aujourd’hui reste très basique : on revend un fichier, parfois protégé par DRM et parfois non de préférence, ou au mieux plusieurs fichiers par livre (aka par EAN) pour permettre aux librairies indépendantes de fournir des livres pour tous les supports de lecture. Certaines plateformes proposent des abonnements parfois (Amazon, YouBoox), et l’innovation commerciale s’arrête ici. Mais le Numérique, ou plutôt le Web, est aussi un support de création pour les auteurs et les autrices qui peut offrir des possibilités infinies d’écritures mais aussi de partage avec leur lectorat.

7switch pour les professionnels du livre

Il y a 10 jours s’achevait la #GrosseOP, une immense opération commerciale menée par les éditions Bragelonne, spécialisées en littérature de l’imaginaire, sur 500 titres de leur catalogue. Le principe : du lundi 27 juin au vendredi 1er juillet, chaque jour une sélection de 100 titres à 0,99€ pendant seulement 24h, avec quelques cadeaux supplémentaires en cas de partage massif du hashtag sur les réseaux sociaux. La surprise du chef : le retour à 0,99€ des 500 titres qui avaient été en promotion pendant la semaine, uniquement du samedi au dimanche.

Un évènement unique que 7switch a mis un point d’honneur à célébrer sur sa page d’accueil et sur les pages de listes des livres concernés par la promotion. Nous reviendrons dans un prochain article sur le bilan de cette opération commerciale en partageant quelques chiffres. Mais aujourd’hui, nous parlons widget !

Le diffuseur numérique des éditions Bragelonne, e-Dantès, a été très actif sur les réseaux sociaux lors de la #GrosseOP. Grand chef d’orchestre de cette opération commerciale, il a surtout coaché tous les revendeurs plusieurs semaines en amont (7switch y compris) afin qu’elle soit une réussite. Mais e-Dantès en a aussi profité tester avec succès le système d’affiliation de 7switch.

Le diffuseur a généré à la volée les 500 URL d’affiliation, à partir de la liste des ISBN en promotion pendant l’opération afin de les vendre sur Le Comptoir d’e-Dantès, un site créé pour l’occasion et auquel nous souhaitons longue vie ! Le diffuseur a même commandé un design spécial du bouton d’achat à l’agence web Sparkk. Une fois les achats effectués depuis le Comptoir grâce à notre système de panier déporté et une simple identification via Facebook ou Google, les clients d’e-Dantès ont pu retrouver tous leurs achats au sein de leur bibliothèque personnelle. À l’avenir, où qu’ils achètent leurs futurs livres au sein du réseau 7switch, ils seront toujours centralisés au même endroit !

Voici un exemple d’utilisation de 7switch dont nous sommes fiers tant il fut bien exécuté et pertinent. Et plus largement, félicitations à Bragelonne et e-Dantès pour cette opération commerciale unique et réussie !
